A Little About Me and This Work

I started MariaLisaHomes to explain home warranty coverage in plain words, so you can judge a plan on your own terms.

My story

Why I Started Explaining Home Warranties

Most people learn how a home warranty works on a bad day, standing next to a leaking water heater with a contract they never really read.

I wanted that moment to go differently. So I built MariaLisaHomes as a calm place to sort through coverage before anything breaks. I point out which appliances and systems a plan names, where normal wear fits in and which situations usually fall outside a plan.

There is no sales script here. I share what I know in everyday language, answer the questions you bring and leave the decision with you, because it is your home and your budget.

The Way I Like to Work

A good plan is one you understand before you need it. That means naming what is covered, being honest about what is not and never rushing you toward a choice that does not suit your house.

Clear lists

I start with the items a plan names, not a vague promise about the whole house.

Honest limits

Upkeep, cosmetic wear and earlier problems get mentioned early, never buried.

Your pace

Read, compare and come back later. Nothing here runs on a countdown.

How it works

From Browsing Plans to Sending a Service Request

1

Browse the plans

Check the solutions page and see which items every plan lists by name.

2

Look over the details

Upkeep, cosmetic damage and problems already there sit outside a plan.

3

Send your details

Sign up using the basics about your house. I keep the questions short.

4

Request a repair

If a covered item breaks, send a service request as the plan lays out.
